Old Dubai Culture - Traditions and gold and spice souks
Overview of the tour in Dubai
I offer an exciting cultural tour of Old Dubai, where we will explore the historic Al Fahidi district, known for its traditional architecture and narrow alleys reminiscent of the Emirati past. On this tour, you will learn in depth about the culture, heritage and traditions of the Arabs, as well as key aspects of their social life.
We will visit the famous Gold Souk, one of the largest gold markets in the world, and the Spice Souk, where you can immerse yourself in the exotic aromas of products such as saffron, cardamom and incense. In addition, you will enjoy the unique experience of sailing along the Dubai Creek in a traditional "Abra" boat, as merchants did in ancient times.
During your visit to the souk, you will learn the art of haggling, a traditional practice in Arab markets, which will make your shopping fun and stress-free. To complete the experience, the tour will include a tasting of typical street food, such as shawarma and falafel, as well as a sample of camel milk chocolate and fresh Arabian dates.
