Cliffs of Moher Tour from Dublin
Overview of the tour in Dublin
After departing Dublin, we will whisk you across the Midlands to Kilmacduagh Monastery, a ruined Abbey near the town of Gort in Galway.
Our next stop is the day's star-attraction, the Cliffs of Moher. You'll have time to walk along the 702-foot-high cliffs, learn more about the natural wonder in the Visitor Center and take plenty of photos.
Then we will travel down a portion of the Wild Atlantic Way where you'll see many farm animals until we hit the Burren (referred to as 'the stretch marks of Mother Ireland'). This plateau is a jutting natural limestone phenomenon that takes up much of County Clare. Be sure to bring your camera, as the unusual karst rocks make for some dramatic photo opportunities, and views stretch out towards the Aran Islands and the Twelve Bens mountain range.
Then it's onto the city of Galway - The city’s hub is Eyre Square, a popular meeting spot surrounded by shops and pubs that often offer live Irish folk music. You'll be given free time to explore this beautiful city by yourself, be it shopping, taking in the sights or getting a well-deserved meal we are sure that you'll have the 'craic'. Then it's back to Dublin.
