Dubrovnik History and Legends Free Tour
Overview of the tour in Dubrovnik
Dubrovnik tour is with a local guide who was born in Dubrovnik.
In 2 hours you will pass through the whole city and he will introduce you to the customs, legends, history of his family and great history of the city from the time of the Dubrovnik Republic (from the 15th to the 19th century) until today.
1. Stop of the tour is at Ploče Gate (Gate), a little inside on the Main Square, in front of the fortress Revelin.
2. Stop in front of the Cathedral of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary.
3. Stop in front of the Rector's Palace.
4. Stop at Major Luza Square - Sponza Palace - former Customs Palace, city bell tower with clock and Church of St. Blaise, patron saint of the city. We will pass the longest street of the city, Stradun.
5. Passing through the street "od Puča" we reach the place where the Children's Orphanage, from the 15th century, was located.
6. The next stop is in front of the Onofrio Grande fountain and the Franciscan Monastery, where one of the oldest pharmacies in Europe is located.
The end of the tour will be on the western side of the Old Town at Pile Puerta.

On arrival
The meeting point will be at the Ploče Gate entrance, on the bridge. The bridge near the street where the cars pass and where the cab stand is, I will take with me a small pink umbrella.
