Overview of the tour in Edinburgh
We will enter Victoria Street, one of Edinburgh's most photogenic streets, famous for its colorful buildings and specialty stores. Every step here is an opportunity to capture the essence of the city with your camera.
We will stroll through Greyfriars Graveyard, a graveyard full of stories and legends. You will meet Bobby, the faithful dog who became a symbol of loyalty. During the tour we will see the history of the National Museum of Scotland and the Old College of the University of Edinburgh, home of great minds and scientific discoveries.
Walking along the Royal Mile, we will travel through centuries of history and culture, until we reach the Mercat Cross, the commercial and social heart of the medieval city. Here, you will learn about the importance of trade and fairs in Edinburgh life.
We will stroll past the majestic St. Giles Cathedral, a Gothic jewel that has been a symbol of the faith and resilience of the Scots for over 900 years.
We end our tour at Writers' Square, a hidden and magical place where we will talk about the most famous writers who have left their mark on Scottish history.
