Hello everyone! I’m Oshan, a local tourist guide in Uva Province, and I highly recommend this tour if you haven’t experienced a train ride yet and want to see authentic local life. Badulla is still off the beaten path for tourists, but it boasts a rich history and stunning nature.

You’ll travel from Ella to Badulla by train, where I’ll be waiting with a vehicle to greet you. We’ll then take a 1-hour city tour, visiting local markets, Muthiyangana Temple, the museum, and the botanical garden.

Next, enjoy a delicious homemade lunch featuring real local food at my place. Afterward, I’ll drop you off at your hotel. It’s the perfect way to experience the true essence of Badulla!
