Free Tour Fisterra The End of the World
Overview of the tour in Fisterra
An hour and a half visit to one of the most magical points on the Camino de Santiago: Fisterra, the coast of the death of the sun. This would explain the name “Costa da Morte”, although this name could also derive from the number of shipwrecks that have occurred in these waters, shipwrecks, of course, which we will talk about on our tour.
Starting in the heart of the town, and after a brief introduction about the visit, we will begin our walk through the streets of Fisterra, discovering stories and anecdotes of the Costa da Morte.
We will visit the Casón anchor, the Fisterra fish market, the Nuestra Señora del Buen Suceso church, and even the San Carlos Castle! We will also enjoy dream views of the "Olympus of the Celts", that is, Monte does Pindo, a place full of magic where Queen Lupa is said to be buried.
What is La Bayonnaise? What do the symbols that we can identify in the hórreos mean? What is the oldest square in Fisterra? All these questions will be answered in this free tour. Discover this very special corner of Galicia with us. Book right now with us!
