Guided Tour Cathedral & Access to the Brunelleschi Dome
Overview of the tour in Florence
To begin, our guide will be waiting for visitors at the door of Santa Reparata(on the south side of the cathedral ), from where we will start our journey into the history of the iconic symbol of Florence: The Cathedral.
Inside, we will reveal the details of the history of the city's most important church and the construction of its impressive Dome, considered a miracle of 15th-century architecture. Finally, we will explain the wonderful fresco decoration of the Universal Judgment located above the altar of the Cathedral.
Once the guided tour inside the Cathedral is over, visitors can independently visit the other buildings and exhibitions in the Cathedral's monumental complex. This ticket is valid for 72 hours and includes Brunelleschi Dome, the Opera del Duomo Museum, Giotto's Bell Tower, the Crypt of Santa Reparata, and the Baptistery of San Giovanni.
IMPORTANT: Access to the Dome is scheduled for a specific time at 12:00 pm on the day of the reservation (except for particular cases that will be communicated in advance).

On arrival
The tour starts at 10:15, but we ask you to arrive at the meeting point (Santa Reparta Door next to the bell tower. South side of the Cathedral) 15 MINUTES BEFORE the start of the tour.
Your guide, at your disposal, will be waiting for you at the meeting point with the company badge as shown in the image.
Things to note
You will not be able to access the interior of the Duomo with sleeveless shirts or dresses or excessively short pants. Any garment that covers the shoulders (scarves or jackets) will suffice to avoid problems at the entrance.
Please take note of the 463 steps to reach the top of the dome.
Bulky bags and backpacks are not allowed to access the dome. Access to the Brunelleschi Dome will be through the Mandorla door (north side of the Cathedral), where it is necessary to arrive 10 minutes before entry for the corresponding checks by the staff of the Cathedral monumental complex.
Visitors entering to visit the Cathedral, climb the Dome or the Giotto's Bell Tower before accessing the monuments and meeting the guide at the meeting point *MUST leave STRICTLY within the Luggage Deposit (Piazza Duomo n. 38/r) suitcases, *large or small backpacks, packages, containers, and bags of large and medium size, as well as other types of objects. Visitors who arrive at the entrance with objects prohibited by the regulations will not be able to access them. They must leave their backpacks or other things in the deposit before meeting the guide at the meeting point.
