Saint - Pierre Tropical Tour
Overview of the tour in Fort-de-France
From Fort de France, head north to discover the interior of the island.
Visit Balata's charming church, a miniature reproduction of Saceé Coeur in Paris, and take some stunning pictures of not only the church but also the magnificent panorama of the city.
A scenic drive takes you past Martinique's majestic rain forests, characterized by its flourishing tropical vegetation, exotic birds, and wild animals, with a stop at Alma River and Saut Gendarme Waterfall.
Then, stop at Depaz Rhum distillery for a tasting. St-Pierre village was once the island's business and culture capital. It was destroyed in 1902 by a volcano eruption, and 30.000 inhabitants died in mere seconds.
