Overview of the tour in Frankfurt
We will visit Opera Square, Eschersheimer Turm, Hauptwache Square, Konstablerwache Square, "New Old Town," Römerberg, Dom Square, Old Bridge, Sachsenhausen Neighborhood, Iron Bridge, Backside of Rathaus, Paul Square, Willz-brant Square. Then we go to the main train station and continue our journey to Mainz.
Embark on our captivating walking tour through Mainz, a journey brimming with history and hidden treasures! We kick off at the majestic Christ Church, then venture to the Bishop's Residence and the former residence of Napoleon Bonaparte. Our path leads us to the impressive Malakoff Fort and into the heart of the city.
We'll explore the enchanting old wooden tower, the medieval wall, and the breathtaking Maria Mater Dolorosa Chapel, the iconic Mainz Cathedral. Inside, Gutenberg Monument. We visit the Protestant Church of St. Johannis, the charming Old Town.
Ascending the hill, we'll visit the picturesque St. Peters Church and vibrant Carnival Fountain before venturing to the Schiller Statue, the Church of St. Emmeran, the Roman Passage, and the captivating ruins of the Goddess Isis.
