2. Walk through the Historic Center (45 minutes)
The next stage is a stroll through the charming streets of Funchal's historic center. Visitors will explore Avenida Arriaga, an important commercial and cultural hotspot, passing by the impressive Sé Cathedral, a 15th century architectural gem with Gothic and Manueline elements. The tour continues through the Old Zone, where you will find old streets full of urban art and typical restaurants. Along the way, the guide will share fascinating stories about the founding of the city and its main historical landmarks.
