On the day of the activity, the guide will be waiting for you in front of the Cristiano Ronaldo Museum, Praça CR7, Av. Sá Carneiro No27, 9004-518 Funchal, Portugal. Please be punctual. Undoubtedly one of the best places to start learning about the origins of the city.
During the visit, we will take a walk along the port, where the Cristiano Ronaldo Museum, dedicated to the famous Portuguese footballer, is located. Did you know that he was born in one of the most humble neighborhoods of Funchal?

We will also go into the historic center, where we will see its most emblematic points. Among them are places like the palace-fortress of São Lourenço. This bastion was built between 1580 and 1640, during the Spanish rule of Portugal. We will talk about the strategic importance of this fortress, considered one of the main military enclaves of Madeira.

Of course, we will walk along the Avenida do Mar, where we will contemplate the exterior architecture of the Madeira Assembly and the Funchal Gate. And we will not finish the tour without taking a look at the urban art murals and strolling along the oldest street of the city.

We will end the tour after two and a half hours of sightseeing.
