Overview

We will start the route at the statue of Don Pelayo, from where we will be surprised by the beautiful Plaza del Marqués. From there, we will gradually discover the main monuments of Gijón, immersing ourselves in its history and charm.

We will explore the Roman Wall, a witness of the imperial past; the Casa Natal de Jovellanos, home of the illustrious Asturian illustrious and the Plaza de Arturo Arias, with its unique atmosphere. We will also visit the Casa del Chino, a local symbol, and the Lower and Upper Batteries of Cimadevilla, vestiges of the coastal defense.

The tour will take us through the Plaza de Campos Valdés and the emblematic Plaza Mayor, the heart of the city, where we will culminate our visit with an unbeatable view of the essence of Gijón.

We start from the Plazuela del Marqués, next to the fountain and statue of Don Pelayo. In case of rain, the guides will be placed under the arcades of the Palace of the Marquis of Revillagigedo.
