Overview

The tour includes laughter and a photo session!

We’ll start at Puerta de Elvira, the historic gateway to the Muslim kingdom of Granada, where we’ll explore the city’s origins. Then, we’ll wander through the Albayzín, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, discovering the roots of Granada’s name and its famous "Cármenes" (traditional houses with gardens).

From a stunning viewpoint, we’ll talk about the Roma (Gypsy) community and their arrival in Spain. And yes, we’ll even mention Bill Clinton! We’ll learn how the Muslims brought water to the city and explore the unique Mudejar architecture.

Inside a monastery, we’ll uncover the history of the last Muslim kingdom in Europe, with a special surprise!

We’ll finish at Mirador de San Nicolás, where you’ll understand how flamenco became the voice of Andalucía’s marginalized people, just in time to enjoy the live music.
