Overview
We will meet in Plaza Nueva, in the historic center of Granada. From there we will embark on a very special journey: we will discover the history of the city in chronological order!
First, we will head to the Albaicin, the ancient Muslim city of Granada, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, where we will see the imposing Alhambra looming behind every corner.
After getting to know the Muslim city, we will move on in history to discover the city built by the Christians who conquered Granada in 1492, putting an end to eight centuries of Muslim rule.
We will then continue to the area of the Cathedral, the greatest symbol of the Christian victory. We will learn about the history of the Catholic Monarchs, probably the most important kings in the history of Spain. In fact, we will stop in front of the Royal Chapel, where their tomb is located.
Finally, we will arrive at the Plaza Bibrambla, a very central and excellent place to continue the discovery of Granada and its gastronomy.
A local and passionate guide is eager to show you the wonderful city of Granada and tell you its history, don't miss the opportunity!
