Immerse yourself in an incredible natural landscape that hides a recent past. Listen to the stories and enjoy the adventure and excitement of the Mondego Walkways. Start your journey at the Caldeirão Dam Car Park. Climb to the Mocho Real Viewpoint to enjoy the view... The adventure begins! A great challenge awaits! About five hundred wooden steps descend through the Mondego Valley, with the stunning Caldeirão Waterfall revealing its rare beauty.

After crossing the ancient Roman Bridge of Mizarela and observing the natural sculptures, continue past old factories and learn about Papa's Blanket. Get to know the Pateiro Hydroelectric Power Plant, the oldest in Guarda, and hear the stories of the exploitation of the "black gold." Cross suspension bridges and discover the windmills at Ribeira dos Moinhos. Finish at the "Videmonte" park and cool off in the waters of the Mondego. Bring a bathing suit and towel. Total distance: 12 Km, accumulated slope: 600 m; Moderate Difficulty, level 2/3 of 5 - MIDE.

On arrival

The meeting point will be in the Parking Dam of the Caldeirão, I will be with an orange umbrella.

Things to note

- Please, when making the reservation, indicate the total number of people who will come (Numerous group bookings are not accepted - more than 15 visitors).
- If possible, please arrive at the meeting point 10 minutes before the tour time to start at the indicated time.
- The route is one-way, with an approximate length of 12 Km. The walk ends at the Videmonte Car Park. The accumulated slope is 600 m; the degree of Difficulty is Moderate (level 2/3 of 5 - MIDE).
- The use of walking sticks is optional.
- You should bring your snacks and lunch to eat during the walk.

- Not included: Meals or drinks during the walk, as well as all consumption in any establishments eventually visited during the activity. - Transport to the starting point of the walk. - Anything that is not declared as included.
