Guatapé is a must-see destination for visitors to Medellín. This beautiful town is known for its colorful baseboards that adorn almost every building, creating a cheerful and picturesque atmosphere.

One of the biggest attractions is the Peñol Rock, a gigantic 220-meter-high monolith that offers a spectacular panoramic view of the Guatapé dam and its surroundings. Ascending the 740 steps to the top is a rewarding experience. The tour includes a tour of the dam by boat, allowing visitors to enjoy the scenery from the water and free time to explore the town's cobblestone streets, craft stores, and cafes.
