Overview of the tour in Guatemala City

Embark on a fascinating cultural walking tour of Guatemala City's Zone 1, where history and modernity intertwine. We will start at the emblematic Plaza Mayor, the heart of the city, where you will admire the majestic Metropolitan Cathedral and the National Palace, symbols of the country's rich architectural and political heritage. We will continue along 6th Avenue, a vibrant artery full of life and history, and stop at the charming Pasaje Rubio, ideal for enjoying a moment of relaxation in its stores, bars, and cafes.

Our tour will take us to the Central Market, a must for every tourist. Here, you can immerse yourself in the local culture, taste another cultural experience, and explore a variety of handicrafts that reflect Guatemala's rich heritage. Throughout the tour, I will share stories and anecdotes that will bring to life each place visited, giving you a unique and enriching experience. This is the perfect opportunity to learn more about the history, culture, and people of Guatemala, and we look forward to having this adventure together!

Plaza Central

On arrival

Meeting Point: We will meet at the Plaza Mayor, in front of the Metropolitan Cathedral. This is a central place and is easy to locate. I will be there with an orange umbrella.

Things to note

Clothing and Footwear: I recommend that you wear comfortable clothing and footwear suitable for walking, as the tour will be on foot (3 hrs approx.)

Weather Conditions: It is suggested that you bring hats, sunscreen, or umbrellas as needed.

Hydration: Remember to always carry water to stay hydrated during the tour. Food and Drink: If the tour includes stops for tastings or meals, inform clients of the options available and if there are any dietary restrictions they should be aware of.

Behavior and Respect: Remind clients to respect the places they visit, as well as other participants and guides.

Cancellation Policy: Be sure to clearly communicate your cancellation and refund policy in case clients need to cancel their participation.
