See what drives the city economically, the ports, and hear about the alternative, red-light district that grew from it along with its anarchists, artists, political activists, misfits, dreamers, prostitutes, punks, failed musicians, refugees and even coming stars!

Come and walk with an experienced local guide that will share their knowledge at the place where the Beatles made their first step towards world fame!

The meeting Point is at the Landungsbrücken Bridge Nr. 5 (next to the Hard Rock Cafe). Please be aware that there are other tour operators in the area but only guides from Robin and the Tourguides can guarantee the top rated experience with the truly authentic and local experience of Robin and the Tourguides. You will recognize our guides at the meeting point with the YELLOW umbrellas and Robin and the Tourguides namebadges.

Please be at least 10 minutes early at the meeting point.

You can reach the Landungsbrücken with the public transportation either with the U-3, S-1 or S-3 metro, "Landungsbrücken" station.

Things to note

Groups of 8 or more people will not be allowed on the public free tour even when booked with several bookings. Please book a private tour with us.
The tour is wheelchair accessible.
Intoxicated guests will not be permitted.
A fair amount of walking is involved.
We kindly ask to obstruct skin contact with the guide and other guests (for example shaking hands), we will offer you though a smile in return.
Guest with coughs, fever, respiratory problems, or other Coronavirus symptoms are not permitted on the tour.

“Very good”

We did two tours in a row with Isabel that day. The tours were both very good, although we personally liked the first tour better, simply because we found the information about Hamburg more interesting. The second tour was the harbor, Reeperbahn and St. Pauli tour - also very exciting and we were glad to have done the tour or both tours. Many thanks Isabel.

“super great city tour! ”

We went with the guide Jan and he was a really great guide! Super friendly, had a lot of knowledge and organized the tour in a very humorous way. We got a lot of information about all the things on the list: historical facts, insider tips (e.g. for food) and simply information about Hamburg that you wouldn't normally get. We were really impressed and would book this tour again at any time!
