Overview of the tour in Hamburg
Join a free walking tour with an experienced local guide where we will discover Hamburg's dramatic history, its rise and fall, and visit the city's most important monuments and sights. Hamburg was an essential economic hub and the center of the Hanseatic League, which has experienced major destruction of the Great Fire and the following second World War. The city spans over 1200 years and stands today as a modern metropolitan city.
The tour features a visit to many of Hamburg's significant sights such as the grand Town Hall, the famous Kontorhousen, St. Nikolas Memorial, Speicherstadt, the Elbhphilharmonie, and the fascinating harbor front.
Come and walk with a knowledgeable guide who will introduce the city in incredible detail!

In return, we kindly ask you to show up to the tour, even if maybe the weather is not so nice. If you are not going to show up to the tour, we kindly ask for you to cancel your reservation asap, so other guests can join our tour. We thank you for your understanding!

On arrival
The meeting Point is in front of the main entrance of the town hall (Rathaus). Please be aware that there are other tour operators in the area but only guides from Robin and the Tourguides can guarantee the top rated experience with the truly authentic and local experience of Robin and the Tour guides. Please be at least 10 minutes early at the meeting point.
You can reach the town hall with the public transportation either with the U-3 metro, "Rathaus" station or take the S-bahn to the "Jungfernstieg" station and follow the signs to the Rathaus.

Things to note
Groups of 8 or more participants will not be allowed on the public tour even when booked with several bookings. You can though book a private tour with us.
The tour is wheelchair accessible.
Intoxicated guests will not be permitted.
A fair amount of walking is involved.
We kindly ask to obstruct from skin contact with the guide and other guests (for example: shaking hands), we will offer you though a smile in return.
Guest with coughs, fever, respiratory problems or other Coronavirus symptoms are not permitted on the tour.
Guests can be excluded for any of the above reasons.

You are free to cancel a booking anytime. We kindly remind you to cancel bookings you cannot arrive for. Being reported as absent decreases your customer level points and the benefits you can enjoy.
