Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum & B-52 Bomber Sites Tour
Overview of the tour in Hanoi
We’re Nam, Van, Lisa, and Julia—a group of young locals who can speak English very well and all have a Professional Tour Guide Certificate. Having called Hanoi home for over twenty years, we’ve got a deep love for this city and all its hidden gems. Join us on a journey through Vietnam’s history, where we’ll uncover Uncle Ho’s life and the incredible strength of the Vietnamese people. These are stories of courage, struggle, and survival.
- Begin at the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, where “Uncle Ho” rests.
- Next, we’ll see the grand Presidential Palace (optional), built during French colonial times.
- Inside the Ho Chi Minh Museum, the exhibit shows a piece of Ho Chi Minh’s journey and the nation’s struggle against French colonization and anti-American resistance.
- Then, we’ll visit the peaceful One Pillar Pagoda, a unique temple shaped like a lotus
- Our next stop is the B52 Museum, where we’ll see the remains of a B52 bomber from the Vietnam War. Here, you’ll learn about the tough battles Vietnam fought against powerful forces.
- Finally, we’ll visit a hidden lake where a B52 plane lies partially submerged.
Note: The Mausoleum is only open in the morning.
