Helsinki Free Tour
Overview
In Market Square, we will talk about Finnish gastronomy and the Finnish cultural heritage, such as the sauna. Next to the market square is the famous Esplanade park, which was inspired by the Champs Elysees in Paris. We take a leisurely stroll up the Esplanade towards Runeberg's statue, the national poet of Finland, before moving towards the more modern part of Helsinki.
This activity includes:
- Railway Square
- Esplanadi
- Market Square
- Senate Square

Things to note
From January to April, the weather conditions in Helsinki can be challenging. It is strongly recommended that our guests wear thermal clothing, hats, gloves, and if possible, proper winter shoes with ice studs. Children are welcome on the tour but often struggle with these conditions, so please keep this in mind.
How can the tour be free?
Our concept is simple — there is no set price. Instead, you tip your guide at the end of the tour whatever amount feels right to you. Typically, guests give between $10 to $50, depending on their satisfaction and budget.
Most guides accept cash or card payments, or you can do it via our app.
Free Cancellation
