Overview of the tour in Helsinki
Starting from meeting up you in the Central Railway Station, your guide will take you to the most must-not-miss spots of Helsinki. You will take the city tram to the Olympic stadium. And then you will visit the Sibelius Monument, to witness the inspirations of Sibelius, the Father of Finnish Music. In addition, on the tour, you will visit the top three famous churches in Finland. Walking through the beautiful Esplanade Park, you will hear the story of the Amanda Statue told by your guide and meet the statue at the end of the Park. You will also go into the Old Market Hall, the traditional 19th-century market hall selling fresh local delicacies, and experience this cheerful atmosphere!
After a lunch break, you will continue the tour by a ferry from the Helsinki Market Square to Suomenlinna, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is one of the world's largest sea fortresses that sprawls across a series of six small islands. During your walking tour, learn about the site's eventful history and see some of Suomenlinna's main attractions.
This tour will end up at Helsinki Market Square, and you may continue the journey of city exploration on your own.
