Such is the amount of beautiful coast, there are a variety of beaches In Tel Aviv, each offering something different; for example, there are a couple of dog beaches where our four-legged furry friends can run and play freely, there's Jaffa beach - preferred by surfers due to the lack of wave breakers, there are family-friendly beaches with shallow waters and active lifeguard patrols, there's Gay beach - where everyone is welcome and has a really fun and lively atmosphere embraced by the gay community, and there's even a drum beach - a relaxing and tranquil beach six days of the week which is woken by the sound of numerous local drummers on Friday evenings!
