Overview
Jerez de la Frontera is the largest city in the province of Cadiz. It is home to the headquarters of the regulatory council of Jerez wine, which also has to its credit two other quite important and well-known designations of origin such as "Manzanilla - Sanlucar de Barrameda" and "Vinagre de Jerez". In this guided tour of the wineries of Jerez, we will visit one of the main wineries in the city. During the hour-and-a-half tour, accompanied by a local official guide, we will see the different rooms of the beautiful and historic enclosure where the winery is located.
As we go through the different rooms where the barrels are stored, we will learn about the elaboration process of the different wines that are produced, with its unique system of "solera and criadera", and of course, to complete the visit we will enjoy a tasting of the most representative wines of this authentic cathedral of wine in Jerez. Remember that if you need transportation to get to the wineries, you can contact us so we can make the arrangements and pick you up wherever you want.
