Overview of the tour in Johannesburg

We begin our town in the vibrant and heritage rich township named SOWETO!

In Soweto we visit Nelson Mandela House we speak about his history, walk to the school that began the Soweto Uprisings. Followed by Hector Pieterson Memorial.

Once we uncovered the past events we take public transport to the Constitutional Hill (Robben Island of Johannesburg)

On our way to the prison we explore the different architecture in both the townships and the inner city and discover the growth of the city.

Once we arrive at the prison we visit the mens and woman’s jail followed by the Constitutional Court. We talk a walk down to Witwatersrand University and take a look at their fabulous art museum.

We then walk to Kitcheners Calvary Bar the 2nd old bar in Johannesburg and speak about the Anglo-Boer War. Afterwards we talk another taxi (public transport) over Nelson Mandela bridge.

Explore Newtown where the city began, see some street art. Visit an iconic mosque where Ghandi was involved. Lastly we visit the Museum of Africa.
