Overview of the tour in Kampala
Discover the rich Ganda culture, traditions, and customs as we explore the intricate relationship between the Buganda Kingdom and its people. Learn about the kingdom’s political setup and its connection to Uganda as a nation. We’ll delve into the social structure by uncovering the roles of different clans within the kingdom.
Visit historical landmarks such as Idi Amin’s torture chambers hidden in Mengo Palace, and marvel at the man-made Kabaka’s Lake created by King Mwanga. Experience the beauty of Buganda architecture at the royal tombs in Kasubi and Wamala, where the lost kings rest.
We’ll also explore traditional beliefs at sites like the Katereke Ditch, walking barefoot inside shrines and witnessing age-old rituals.
