Overview of the tour in Kandy

Board your train in Kandy and find your reserved seat. Once you're seated, get ready to enjoy the country's most scenic train journey. Depending on your vacation schedule, choose from 2 departures per day, and sit back and travel in style.

As you ride, take in views of tea estates, looming mountains, viaducts, and roaring waterfalls. Marvel at the dense jungle and enjoy the friendly atmosphere inside the train.

If you wish, purchase a delightfully spicy snack from the vendors who board the train at each stop. Nibble on your snack as you admire the views.

We will provide you with Tickets the day before or at 6.00 am on the booking date. We will try to send tickets to your Hotel in Kandy, or you can collect them from the station. Our first priority is to give you tickets on the 8.40 am train, if not the 11.20 am or 12.25 pm train.
-Please contact us to collect the actual ticket the day before the activity Starts. We will deliver the tickets to your Hotel in Kandy!!

Tickets will be for a 1st or 2nd class compartment depending on availability, with 2nd class allocation as the priority. We don't provide transportation to the train station from your hotel in Kandy, and we don’t deliver tickets to Nuwara Eliya Hotels.
*Your online booking tickets are not valid. Please contact us so we can collect the actual tickets.
*If we can not get you 1st, or 2nd-class tickets, we will arrange at least 3rd-class tickets with reserved Seats.

Things to note

We don’t provide Transportation to the Train Station from your hotel. We will provide the tickets for your hotel in Kandy.

Free Cancellation

Free Cancellation up to 24 hours before the activity starts. Late cancellation or your non-arrival is not refundable.
