Be picked up from your hotel in Kandy and travel to Sigiriya. Visit the Sigiriya Rock and Museum with a professional guide. After visiting the Rock and Museum, enjoy a delicious Western or Sri Lankan traditional lunch at a restaurant.

After lunch, visit the Dambulla Cave Temple and the Golden Buddha Statue. This UNESCO World Heritage site features Lord Buddha’s life painted on the cave walls, which is believed to have been done during the 2nd century.

On returning to your hotel in Kandy, visit an Ayurvedic herbal and spice garden and stop at the Matale Sri Muthumariamman Hindu Temple.
