Overview of the tour in Klaipeda

If you love nature and history this tour is for you. On a private 5 seat car we will go to visit the surrounding countryside of Klaipeda region.

The old pagan Curonian land will be revealed by visiting the most spectacular hill-forts that will allow us to imagine how life might have looked like a thousand years ago.

After pick up - we will make a small stop at the Klaipeda old Town to give a small introduction and general background. Then we will aim to visit at least 2(or maybe 3 if we make it in time) hill-forts that are around 40 40-minute drive from Klaipeda. The hill-forts are quite steep, yet there won't be much walking as we will drive from one place to another.

Pagan hill-forts were built on naturally formed hills where they built an advanced fortification to defend from the enemies. Nowadays in Lithuania, there are more than 1000 hill-forts officially recognized and protected by the state.

Join me and we will explore the old roots of Lithuania
