Depart from Kochi 08. 00
Arrive Murinjapuzha backwaters 09. 00
Board a Shikkara Boat ( Gondola with a roof ) 3 hours. the boat will be handed punted by 2 people at the stern and bow. There will be vists to villages on the way to watch villagers engaged in different activities like Coir Spinning, Coconut leafe weaving ( which is used for thatching of huts cottage in the Village.
At end of the cruise gop to respecful home for enjoying a traditional Vegetarian lunch .
Depart Murinjapuzha for Kochi and arrive back at 16. 00
The overland drive from Kochi to Murinjapuzha backwater region will give you opportunity to experience morning life of the people.
The Shikkara boat meanders through the backwaters studded with coconut groves and lush green villages. Villagers engaged in cottage industries lds attract us as they take us to a time of self supporting economic activities . We can witness the life of villagers educated and prosperous on the banks. Bungalows or rich houses of prosperous people painted in bright colors and churches, temples etc., also adorn the banks
