Overview of the tour in Kotor

“The Miami of Montenegro” or “Miniature Dubrovnik”. These are the nicknames of Budva. The small town earned its first nickname for its large number of entertainment centers, bustling nightlife, luxury hotels, clubs, and casinos, and the second for its well-preserved historical monuments and natural beauty, reminiscent of Dubrovnik at every step.

Budva is considered the most popular tourist and entertainment center in the former Yugoslavia and now in the Balkans. With a history of 2,500 years, Budva has been ruled by Greeks, Byzantines, Venetians, and, to a lesser extent, Turks for centuries. Traces of these states can be found in the city's architecture at every step.

The best time to travel to Budva is, of course, the summer months. In summer, the city seems really different. The reason for this difference is the festivals held in Budva: the Budva Carnival in May, the Budva Music Festival in June, and the Budva Theater Festival in July and August.
