Overview of the tour in Kyiv
Firstly, we will meet at the deepest station in the world - the Arsenalna. Also, it is very similar to the London Underground, so we will find some differences.
After that, our underground trip will continue at Khreschatyk station, where we research Ukrainian flora and maiolica ornaments.
Then time for a brief history lecture: at Zoloti Vorota station we will find ourselves in the XI century. The beautiful decorations of this station resemble the ancient temple of Kyiv Rus times with mosaic icons, cathedrals, and portraits of princes and princesses.
Teatralna station is decorated as the main hall of the National Opera of Ukraine, so we will be a pleasant audience. In the noise of the mob, we will talk about a mysterious bomb shelter for communist leaders and additional metro lines.
At Universitet station, we will make acquaintance with the busts of the brightest minds in Ukrainian history - Taras Shevchenko, Aleksandr Bogomolets, Gregory Skovoroda, etc. Also, we will try to find prints of prehistoric ammonite shells on marble walls.
Dnipro station is a typical example of Soviet times ideological culture with two huge monuments of Young Pioneers, that symbolize Peace and Labour.
