Authentic Rural Mexican Experience Adventure
Overview of the tour in La Crucecita, Mexico
The first stop of our tour is a local community that is perfectly representative of everyday life in Mexico. The community of Piedra de Moros is a simple rural community where people use herbs to heal, eat simple food and live according to ancestor traditions.
In this sleepy little village, you'll learn about the ancient holistic healing practices that people in this region have been using for centuries and what herbs are used to help natives recover from illness and injuries.
From there, you'll be brought to a Nopal plantation. These iconic cactuses are native to the region and have served as an important part of Mexican culture for centuries. People use this fresh cut cactus for cooking. Besides, Nopal cactus is famous for its antiviral and anti-inflammatory properties.
After that, we will have some snorkeling time on the San Agustin beach. Enjoy the clear blue water, discover a reef surrounded by colorful tropical fish, sea urchins, rays and see stars.
