Overview of the tour in Lima
hi guys! Today I present you a wonderful tour through the streets of historic Lima. We will visit the two main squares: Plaza San Martin and Plaza de Armas. We will explore emblematic monuments, such as the Bolivar Hotel (including a tour inside) and the Cathedral of Lima.
We will discover how Lima got its name, why its monuments are yellow, and why it is known as the City of Kings. In addition, we will look for the hat of the founder of Lima, Francisco Pizarro, hidden in the Plaza de Armas.
We will also go jironear, visit La Merced church, pass by the Maury Hotel (where the original pisco was created), explore a viceroy's house and enjoy a pisco sour tasting.
