Overview of the tour in Lisbon

On our trip, we will pass by the most famous tourist points of interest in the city of Lisbon. We will meet at the BAIXA-CHIADO subway station exit.

The Baixa-Chiado area is one of the most beautiful quarters of this city, where you will find the Santa Justa elevator, the ruins of the old Carmo church, which are the most representative witness of the great earthquake of 1755, the Luís Camões square, who is the greatest Portuguese poet, the BRASILEIRA coffee shop, which gained its fame because Fernando Pessoa realized many of his famous works there.

Crossing Rossio Square and Augusta Street, we arrive at Comércio Square, where the royal palace used to be, which was destroyed in the 1755 earthquake. Next, walking along the Tagus River bank, we arrive at Casa Bico, where the only Portuguese winner of the Nobel Prize for literature is buried.

Passing by Lisbon's Cathedral and several viewpoints, we arrive at the foot of São Jorge Castle. This castle already exists before the reconquest of the city of Lisbon from the Muslims. Therefore, this castle has witnessed a change in this city in the past eight centuries. From this castle, we can enjoy the panorama of the entire city.
