Overview of the tour in Lisbon
We will start our tour at Praça do Comércio, the most monumental space in the city, and head to the Iglesia de la Concepción Vieja, the most iconic work of Manueline art in the center of Lisbon. From there, passing by the Casa dos Bicos, we will enter the interior of the walled perimeter of Alfama, the old Muslim quarter of Lisbon.
Once in Alfama, we will be amazed by its most important churches, San Antonio and the Cathedral or Sé, and we will ascend through hidden gems such as the Roman Theater of Alfama towards the best viewpoints in Lisbon: Santa Luzia and Portas do Sol. After a Brief respite to take some postcard photos, we will go to the gates of the Castle of San Jorge, where we will talk about the conquest of the city by the Templars.
From the castle, we will descend towards the Mouraria neighborhood, the birthplace of Fado, whose history we will also explore before heading to one last viewpoint to end with the best view of Lisbon at sunset.
