Overview of the tour in Lisbon

Explore one of Europe's oldest capitals. Our tour starts in Bairro Alto, where we’ll pass through Luis de Camões Square, where you will meet one of the most important writers in Portuguese literature.

Speaking of writers, we’ll head to the writers' neighborhood, visit the oldest working bookstore in the world, and visit a charming historic café. We’ll pass by the Carmo Convent, where you will learn the story of one of the most destructive earthquakes in Europe.

Also pass by the National Guard Command, where Europe's longest dictatorship ended. We’ll enter Rossio train station, which has a unique Portuguese artistic style. We’ll go to the Baixa Chiado neighborhood and pass by the church of the Easter massacre. We’ll also pass by the oldest store selling the most popular liquor in the city! We’ll continue along Rua Augusta, where you will learn a little about Portuguese gastronomy.

When you arrive at Praça do Comercio, you will see the beauty of the new Lisbon that was rebuilt after the earthquake.
