Overview

We will start in Rossio Square, where I will give a short introduction to the history of Lisbon. Then we head to Rossio train station, where you can see the Eiffel Tower, a type of iron architecture, and traditional tiles. Then we head to Santa Just, an 18th-century lift made by an Eiffel student.

After that, we visit Baixa do Chiado, where you will meet its icons and the bourgeoisie society. After that, we follow to Largo do Carmo and the ruined church. Here, you will learn about the cathedral's history and about the revolution of the claves that dictated the end of the longest dictatorship in European history.

Then we head to Praça do Comercio, where I will tell you about Lisbon's 1755 earthquake and explain the importance that our governor had in the city's rebuilding. Then we head to Alfama, where you will learn a bit about Fado's origins and visit the gothic and oldest Lisbon Cathedral, Sé Cathedral.

Then we end the tour, or if you wish, we can head to the famous Pink Street and have a drink, chat, or eat something before we leave.
