Free Tour of Urban Art and Graffiti in Madrid
Overview
We will enter the multicultural neighborhood of Lavapiés, whose walls are decorated with colorful works that address themes such as diversity and social criticism. You'll see creations by artists such as TVBoy, Okuda, and Suso33, each with their own unique style, from neo-fauvism to pop art to large-scale murals exploring love and gentrification.
The tour ends at Plaza de Antón Martín, home to Juan Genovés' famous work, "El Abrazo" (The Embrace), a symbol of reconciliation and resistance. This tour will allow you to see Madrid from a different perspective, where modern art and graffiti fill the streets with history and meaning, an experience not to be missed!
