Overview of the tour in Madrid

Join our Free Tour of Chueca and Malasaña and discover Madrid's most alternative neighborhoods, known for their LGTBI culture and their fundamental role in the countercultural movements of the 80s, especially the Movida Madrileña!

We will start in Plaza de Chueca, the heart of the LGTBI neighborhood, passing by emblematic places that reflect its diversity and inclusion. Then, we will visit the Museum of History of Madrid and its imposing baroque façade before walking along the vibrant Fuencarral street. During the tour, we will discover the San Ildefonso market, the San Antón church, and the Recogidas de Santa Maria Magdalena convent.

Our next stop will be at the Plaza del Dos de Mayo, the epicenter of Malasaña, famous for its atmosphere and historic bars that marked the Movida Madrileña. We will also explore the most iconic theaters of the neighborhood and the church of San Antonio de los Alemanes.

We will end at Plaza de la Luna, an emblematic place of Madrid's alternative culture.
