Overview
This approximate 2 hours walking experience will take you around Madrid's most multicultural and multicolor neighborhood. A local guide/graffiti hunter will meet you by the entrance of Teatro Valle Inclán (Calle de Valencia, 1).
You will not only photograph the most talented artworks from CALLE, Urbanity and Muros Tabacalera festivals but also observe what are the local communities doing to solve the problems that are hitting the Spanish society. It will be through critical thinking that you will analyze the message that lies behind each mural. Get to know places like Esta es una Plaza (Madrid's most beautiful urban garden), La Canica (time bank), or La Tabacalera (a former tobacco factory from the XIX century). These self-sustained communities created and organized by locals, will offer you an alternative idea of what Madrid is like.
The street art tour in Madrid will end at La Latina metro station (Plaza de la Cebada).
Please note that we require at least a minimum of 2 people for any of our activities to kick off.
