We'll then explore Plaza de la Villa to see architectural styles spanning three centuries, as well as Plaza Mayor, the site of historical events from Inquisition trials to royal celebrations.
Next, we will head to Puerta del Sol, the city's bustling center, and pass by the Royal Academy of Fine Arts, where masters like Goya once studied. We will learn about the magnificent Gran Via and the modernization of the city in the 19th century and see the Prado Museum, which houses an impressive collection of European art. We will finish the tour at Fuente the Neptuno.
