Overview

This day trip is 'must do' since you've got time in Marrakesh, you need to know the backdrop water for the Red city, allow yourself to discover the Atlas, and its valley inhabited by Berber tribes. The extreme point, Setti Fatma, is 65Km South of Marrakesh. The Ourika valley is punctuated by a string of douars (Berber villages) attached to the hillside. Water is everywhere, which winds through the meadows, irrigating fields and orchards. Many of Marrakech people have second homes in Ourika Valley, or simply they take hostels, hotels or rentals when the temperatures of their city become very high. Visiting the women cooperatives and stopping for breathtaking pictures. Oulmes is a typical food village, where the most of the Moroccans will stop for a tagine, Couscous, Barbecues or simply mint tea by the river Ourika. Admire the lush landscape and water around. We would head back around 11 am.
