Overview of the tour in Marseille

We will meet at the place where it all began some twenty-six centuries ago, Le Jardin Des Vestiges, where we will walk together through a historical adventure, from the founding of Massalia by the community of Phocaean Greeks, to the present day.

We will walk to La Vieille Mairie (Town Hall and Hotel de Ville). We will ascend to Le Panier one of the first neighborhoods of the city, there we will know the charm that tells us its history and evolution, we will see those most emblematic buildings, such as the church of the Acolytes, the observatory, La Vieille Charite, a former hospice that today serves as a museum and exhibition center.

We continue with a walk full of urban art, culture and curiosities, heading towards the Cathedral Santa Maria Maggiore, a basilica of Neo-Byzantine characteristic (don't forget to look at the floor!).

What you won't be able to miss is the ORANGE BEAR that stands in the way of our final journey, as our tour ends after passing through Le Mucem and the Saint-Jean fort, until we reach the Saint Laurent Church. I invite you to enjoy an unforgettable walk together.
