Overview

The tradition of a ¨Plaza de Mercado¨, or marketplace, was brought to our land by the Spanish Colonizers. At its time, the Market, developed at the “Plaza Mayor” in the central area of the city. It was usually held on Saturdays or Sundays, the same days Religious Services were provided. With us, you will explore this vivid place, walking through the best stalls with fresh delicious fruit and vegetables. You will also meet locals and learn tips on getting around the city from our friendly guide.

“Great tour, amazing experience”

“All new tastes”
We had a lot of fun! A little race between us who could find wich fruit first. You learn new fruits, tastes and benefits of the fruits. Our guide was very nice, his English was great and we ended the tour with some great talkes learning far more about Medellin than just the market place. We cannot think of something that should have been different and went home with some fruits for later that day Thank you Luis! We can recommand this to everybody! Very authentic and we learned a lot.
