Guided Tour: Fortress and Museums of Melilla
Overview of the tour in Melilla
The tour begins in the Plaza de los Aljibes, where we will meet to marvel at the imposing architecture of the Museums, originally built as Almacenes de las Peñuelas in the 18th century.
After visiting the spectacular Plaza de los Aljibes, we will enter the Museum of Archaeology of Melilla, where we will find incredible archaeological remains found in Melilla and its surroundings. We will continue our visit admiring the incredible views from the Royal Battery in the Museum of the Clock House of the citadel that will transport us to what life was like in the fortified Melilla of the XVI-XIX centuries with its 4 walled enclosures.
We will finish our visit in the Cuevas del Conventico, checking how the daily life of the people who lived in Melilla "the old" during the times of siege, the citadel and its caves will transport us to what life was like in the Renaissance Melilla and the great legacy that left its mark on the city.
Itinerary: Plaza de los aljibes, Gothic chapel, Puerta de Tierra and Puerta de Mar, Plaza de la Maestranza, Museum of Archaeology and History, Melilla Lighthouse, Muralla de las Cruces and Torreón de las Cabras.

I will be at the indicated time at the entrance of the Ethnographic Museum of Melilla. Located in the Plaza de los Aljibes of the citadel of "Melilla, the old".
