Meet your local guide at a starting point and go to explore the Historic Center of Mexico City seeing its most iconic landmarks and learning about events and personalities behind them. Home to impressive architectural landmarks, dating from as far back as Aztec times, this part of the city is literally the country’s political, historical, and cultural heart that carefully preserves over 500 years of Mexican history. Centered around the massive Zocalo square, the largest one in Latin America, the area draws both visitors and residents of the city to its numerous museums and iconic monuments like the elegant Palacio de Bellas Artes, the immense National Palace, or the imposing Metropolitan Cathedral. Street food vendors and simple taquerías coexist in harmony with high-end restaurants and cafés, along the bustling pedestrian-only Madero Avenue and nearby streets.

On arrival

Please arrive at the meeting point (in front of Museo Mexicano del Diseño) at least 5 min before the scheduled time - your guide will be waiting there with a sign saying "Vibe Adventures".

ATTENDANCE: If you cannot attend the tour, as a matter of RESPECT, please inform us and cancel your booking with due anticipation, ideally at least 24h before the tour. Our guide might contact you (via WhatsApp, SMS, or call) before the tour to double-confirm your participation, so please kindly provide a VALID PHONE NUMBER in your booking. If the guide cannot reach you, your booking will be automatically considered CANCELED.

NOT INCLUDED: Meals, drinks, and entrance tickets (if applies); travel insurance; personal expenses and tips.

FOOD & DRINKS: This free walking tour includes gastronomic stops with tastings (consumption is voluntary and is not included) at iconic good-value-for-money local restaurants and bars, so you can even come hungry and thirsty. If you decide to join, please kindly bring some cash (Mexican pesos) as most of those places don’t accept bank cards. If you have any allergies, please let us know before the tour.

LANGUAGE: The primary language of the tour is English. However, all our guides are bilingual and can reply to your questions in Spanish as well.

RESPONSIBILITY: Participation in this tour is free and voluntary. Thus, having decided to join, you waive your guide and tour organizer from any responsibility connected with your physical health as well as damage, theft, or loss of personal items during the tour.

TIPS: Our guides run the tours on a voluntary basis and their remuneration is completely based on donations received from travelers during the tour. Therefore, despite being optional, tips are highly recommended as they allow us to keep organizing our tours.
