Overview of the tour in Mexico City

The meeting point is at Parque Alameda Central, this park dates back to 1592. This Walking tour goes from the meeting point towards, Templo Mayor, then to Zócalo, following with Palacio de Bellas Artes, finishing at Parque Alameda Central.

During this tour you will get a clear understanding about Mexico's history. While walking around the streets towards the past, we will talk about the LGBTQ+'s communities participation in Mexican History; like queer artists like Juan Gabriel, Frida Kahlo, Chavela Vargas, and important people for Mexico's independence and revolution

For this tour, I recommend having a small lunch, we will have some tacos de canasta mid-experience, further recommendations are wearing comfortable shoes for walking, use sunscreen, bring water, and an umbrella. The meeting point is in Alameda Central Park at 9:30, the time of the tour is 2h 30, finishing back at Parque Alameda Central.

More to discover... As an extra, a tour at Diego Rivera’s Mural Museum. In the Mural "Sueño de una Tarde Dominical en la Alameda Central", Diego Rivera document the Mexican society and history up to his time in amural that measures 4,8 x 15 m.
