Teotihuacan Morning Experience in Mexico City
Overview of the tour in Mexico City
Take a trip out to Teotihuacan, a 1st Century pre-Columbian Mesoamerican City 40 km northeast of Mexico City.
Stroll around the impressive Avenue of the Dead, visiting the Quetzalcoatl Temple, the massive Pyramid of the Sun and Pyramid of the Moon, and the colorful Quetzalpapalotl Palace, all with the experience and knowledge of a certified guide.
Learn more about natural textiles and ancient pigments in our visit to an obsidian & textile workshop, combined with a Mezcal tasting and a 'Pulque' tasting (a drink known as "the beverage of the gods").
We will have time to purchase lunch at a regional restaurant to find some mouth-watering traditional food before we return to Mexico City.
Recommendations: Bring water, sunscreen, sunglasses, wear a hat or a cap, comfortable clothes and walking shoes.
