FULL TOUR DESCRIPTION.
Will start the day with pick-up from your hotel or desired location in Mombasa. Visit the famous Fort Jesus Museum. Learn about Mombasa and how it evolved. Walk past the old colonial houses and mosques as you discover the culture and origins of the city.
Take a drive along Mama Ngina to admire the scenic views. See the Likoni Ferry channel, then stop at the famous Pembe za Ndovu Elephant Tusk sculpture which can be found on the back of the local currency. Find out how this sculpture represents how Mombasa historically symbolized the gateway to the Arab ivory trade.
In the afternoon, head over to Haller Park in time to feed the giraffes. The Park consists of a Game Sanctuary, Reptile Park, Crocodile pens and a giraffe viewing platform, and several wildlife.
